L-Lysine

White or near white free flowing crystalline powder. Almost odorless. It melts and decomposes at 263 ~ 264 ℃. It is usually stable, easy to caking and slightly colored under high humidity. It is easy to dissolve in water (40g / 100mL, 35 ℃). The aqueous solution is neutral to slightly acidic. It can be heated together with phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, ion exchange resin, etc. to have racemic effect.
