Chemical reagents and preservatives
Important acid food preservatives. Under acidic conditions, it has inhibitory effect on mold, yeast and bacteria, but has weak effect on acid producing bacteria.
Preservatives; antimicrobial agents.
Deodorant or preservative. It can also be used as a fragrance retention agent for juice drinks. It can be used as perfume to incense fragrance. It can also be used in flavors such as chocolate, lemon, orange, berry, nut, preserves, etc. Tobacco flavors are also commonly used.
Sodium benzoate is used as food preservative, dye intermediate, pesticide, plasticizer, mordant, medicine and perfume. It can also be used as modifier of alkyd resin and polyamide resin, as raw material of polyester, terephthalic acid and rust inhibitor of steel equipment.
