White crystals or granules, or colorless powder, ≥99.0%;  

with sweet and astringent taste. Soluble in water and ethanol, glycerol, methanol.

Application:

Pharmaceutical industry and plant genetic research, also used as preservatives for dye intermediates, fungicides and preservatives; antimicrobial agents.

It is also an important preservative for acid food and feed preservative.
